BCBDD receives Greater Cincinnati Top Workplace for the second year in a row!
On Wednesday, May 21, the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities (BCBDD) was selected once again as a Greater Cincinnati Top Workplace by the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Enquirer and Cincinnati.com selected only 122 top workplaces out of the 2,519 organizations that were asked to survey their employees. Selections were based on employee feedback through third-party employee satisfaction surveys. The BCBDD received the Top Workplaces honor in 2024 as well.
6 BCBDD employees represented the organization at the Top Workplaces ceremony at the Cincinnati Hard Rock Casino. At the ceremony, each of the 122 Top Workplaces received a plaque and a custom Top Workplace banner. Those in attendance also enjoyed appetizers, desserts, beverages, connecting with fellow top workplace recipients, music by DJ Cubby, and an incredible motivational speech by Holly Hoffman, who was the last remaining member of the Espada Tribe and the last woman standing on Season 21 of “Survivor Nicaragua.”

BCBDD Superintendent Lee Ann Emmons said the BCBDD is honored to be recognized again this year as a “Top Workplace.”
“Being selected as a Top Workplace just confirms what we already know to be true; we have dedicated and committed employees who help us to create a work culture that we can all be proud of,” Lee Ann said. “When our employees feel supported and successful, their work is better, and that reflects directly on the resources we provide to the individuals and families supported by our mission. The Board strives to continue to build on our strong history of excellence in both service delivery and an effective workforce. I am proud to lead an agency that values its employees and their contributions!”
