School to Adult Life
Butler County's School to Adult Life Transition Series (S.A.L.T.) and Preparing, Empowering, and Planning for Adulthood Series (P.E.P.A.) are FREE monthly series developed to provide a learning opportunity, along with the resources and guidance, to help families of children with disabilities and students (ages 14-22) to navigate through transition from school to adult life. The meetings are held on the second Wednesdays of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. at Liberty Fairfield Office: 5645 Liberty Fairfield Road | Hamilton, OH 45011. |
Where: Liberty Fairfield Office: 5645 Liberty Fairfield Road | Hamilton, OH 45011 Parent Session Topic: Topics will be announced prior to the beginning of the school year. All parents and professionals are welcome to attend these sessions. Student/Young Adult Sessions: Students are encouraged to attend their own series designed for all learners, taking place at the same time as the parents' series. Students will participate in fun and interactive learning activities to help them prepare for the transition from school to adult life.
