SALT Talks – Understanding the OOD Services and who They are

SALT Talk is a monthly series that provides learning opportunities, along with resources and guidance, to families of children with disabilities so that they can successfully navigate the transition from school to adult life.

During this virtual session, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities Lois Mescher, Rachel Spangler, Kyna Johnson, Tabbatha Hall, and Elizabeth Moore will discuss who OOD is, what role they play in a child’s future, when a parent should start planning for a child’s employment future, when you should contact OOD, who is Eligible for OOD, when you can apply, and how you know when your child will be employable.

All are welcome to attend! CEUs have been approved for those with an SSA certification who attend the full session. If you requested CEUs, you should receive your certificate of completion approximately two weeks after the session. Please email your request to prtpattis@gmail.com.
