SALT Talks – Getting Around Town: Public Transportation & Independent Driving Part 1

SALT Talk is a monthly series that provides learning opportunities, along with resources and guidance, to families of children with disabilities so that they can successfully navigate the transition from school to adult life.

During this virtual session, speakers Bryan Lynch, Training Manager of Drivers Education Services, and Shannon Webster from Public Transportation will look at both the public transportation system and getting a personal driver’s license. Participants will learn helpful information, the available resources, and learn how to address the challenges individuals with disabilities may face regarding the various transportation opportunities.

All are welcome to attend! CEUs have been approved for those with an SSA certification who attend the full session. If you requested CEUs, you should receive your certificate of completion approximately two weeks after the session. Please email your request to prtpattis@gmail.com.
