
2025 Community Recognition Awards

This year’s awards will take place on Saturday, September 20, from 3-5 p.m. at Berachah Church located at 1900 Johns Road, Middletown, OH 45044.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Temple Grandin
We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Temple Grandin!
Temple Grandin is a Distinguished Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University. Facilities she has designed for handling livestock are used by many companies around the world. She has also been instrumental in implementing animal welfare auditing programs that are used by McDonalds, Wendy’s, Whole Foods, and other corporations. Temple has appeared on numerous TV shows such as 20/20 and Prime Time. Her books include: Thinking in Pictures, Livestock Handling and Transport and The Autistic Brain. Her books Animals in Translation and Visual Thinking have been on the New York Times Bestseller List. Temple was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in September 2017, in 2022 was named a Colorado State University Distinguished Professor, and in 2023 was inducted into the Colorado Authors’ Hall of Fame.
Master of Ceremonies: Tyler Bradshaw
Our festivities will be once again emceed by the magnanimous Tyler Bradshaw, Executive Director of the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields. Tyler’s personal relationship with many of the evening’s award winners along with his vivacious personality makes him the perfect master of ceremonies. As ED of The Joe Nuxhall Foundation where he leads all facets of the Foundation including The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.
He loves spending time with the Miracle League athletes and families while getting the chance to carry on the mission and vision of one of his heroes, Joe Nuxhall. For nine years, Tyler served as the Voice of the Hamilton Joes, the summer collegiate baseball team that bears Joe Nuxhall’s name. As a passionate mental health advocate after losing his father, Scott, to suicide in 2013, Tyler created a blog called Seeya Bub where he writes and speaks about the importance of mental health and suicide prevention to audiences throughout our community. Tyler is a member of the Miami University Alumni Association Advisory Board, the Butler County Suicide Prevention Task Force, and the Travel Butler County Board of Directors. Tyler and his beautiful wife, Paige, live in Mason. They are the proud parents of two sons, Jackson and Nolan.
