SALT Talks – Are There Local Support Groups I can Reach out to?

SALT Talk is a monthly series that provides learning opportunities, along with resources and guidance, to families of children with disabilities so that they can successfully navigate the transition from school to adult life.

During this virtual session, the Regional Autism Advisory Council of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Mary Helen Richer, CEO of the Autism Society of Cincinnati, Teresa Harris, RPM Provider at the Parent and Professional Autism Work Group, and Amy Iten, Volunteer Coordinator for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati, will discuss what supports they provide for families and what provider events, training, support groups and activities they offer.

All are welcome to attend! CEUs have been approved for those with an SSA certification who attend the full session. If you requested CEUs, you should receive your certificate of completion approximately two weeks after the session. Please email your request to prtpattis@gmail.com.
