- Financial Resilience Center - Developed by the National Disability Institute to help people with disabilities navigate financially through COVID-19. Includes information on employment/unemployment, stimulus, money management, public benefits, scams, and housing/food/healthcare. One-on-one financial counseling is also available at no cost.
- Cincinnati Children's COVID-19 Resources for Families
- These tools are meant to help document personal safety networks. This is especially important now that we are all disconnected - signs of abuse and neglect may go unnoticed.
STRESS & ANXIETY
- COVID CareLine: 1-800-720-9616 is a new, toll-free number and emotional support call service through the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Behavioral health professionals are available 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. After 8 pm, the CareLine will forward to the National Suicide Prevention Helpline.
- Coronavirus Anxiety Workbook
- Ask a Psychologist - This is a new type of virtual visit being offered by Cincinnati Children's Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics' psychology team. New and existing patients may call 513-636-8107 to schedule a 45-minute appointment with the next available psychologist. This service is not intended to be a crisis hotline.
- Butler County DD Community Facebook group - for caregivers of those with developmental disabilities to connect with one another, seek advice, and share resources, ideas, challenges and success stories of how you and your family are dealing with these uncertain times.
- Pause Family Network Facebook group - connect, process, share ideas and benefit from interactive Zoom meet-ups with other caregivers of children with special needs in Butler County. Also check out their full day schedule and half day schedule developed to help establish structure throughout the day during this time.
