SALT Talks – Creating My Employment Network

SALT Talk is a monthly series that provides learning opportunities, along with resources and guidance, to families of children with disabilities so that they can successfully navigate the transition from school to adult life.

During this virtual session keynote speakers Keith Banner, Employment and Community Life Engagement Project Manager (SW Ohio) for the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), and Michelle Garrett, Employment Navigation SSA Supervisor for the MCBDD, will teach parents how to develop an employment team to assist and guide their child through transition to employment. During this presentation, you will learn about several services and organizations that work together to create a strong team.

All are welcome to attend! CEUs have been approved for those with an SSA certification who attend the full session. If you requested CEUs, you should receive your certificate of completion approximately two weeks after the session. Please email your request to prtpattis@gmail.com.
