SALT Talks – Building Daily Living Skills

SALT Talk is a monthly series that provides learning opportunities, along with resources and guidance, to families of children with disabilities so that they can successfully navigate the transition from school to adult life.

During this session Dr. Amie Duncan, Clinical Psychologist of The Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders and Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, will discuss how to target daily living skills in order to build independence in adolescence and adulthood. She will discuss a thorough plan for targeting, practicing, and mastering daily living skills based on the intervention that she has developed for adolescents with autism and their parent/caregiver. Dr. Duncan will also discuss strategies and resources that have been instrumental in increasing the independence of adolescents at home and in the community.

All are welcome to attend! If you have any questions about the SALT TALK series please email prtpattis@gmail.com.
