Adult Supports
Adult Services' day habilitation program is designed to meet an individual's specialized needs (for example: medical and/or behavioral needs), who cannot be served by any other provider.
Our facility based services are provided at Liberty Center and currently offer supports to more than 130 individuals. We offer on site nursing services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and behavior support services; family involvement through parent advocacy groups; and self-advocacy groups on site.
Adult Services has specially designed programming to offer individuals unique and interesting experiences in the areas of:
Computer Lab - offers training in basic keyboarding skills, various software programming, and data entry skills. Academic programming for math, sequencing, and cause and effect is also available.
Cooking Classes - provides individuals an understanding and hands on experience in the fundamentals of nutrition and food preparation.
Educational Programming - allows individuals to maximize their abilities in daily living skills, communication and educational interests.
InsideOut Studio - Works collaboratively with community organizations to provide individuals with artistic opportunities, exhibits and income producing projects.
Music Therapy - provides a musical experience with a licensed therapist and a chance for individuals to explore and express musical interests.
Sensory Studio - exposes individuals to multi-sensory experiences through the use of lighting, sound and creative design.
Job Retention - gives individuals the support needed to successfully work in the community while building good working relationships with employers.
